Thank you @sarahwestlake for posting this photo. I’m sharing it again. I listened to Heather cox richardson on the @BrianTylerCohen YouTube channel. My takeaway is that we are listening and reading (Project 2025) statements that are so far out and unthinkable that we aren’t taking them seriously. That’s dangerous for us all. It’s dangerous for our democracy.

This is the nightmare that Margaret Atwood prophesied so clearly in The Handmaid’s Tale. Let’s not pretend it isn’t. I’m not the first to say this, but the Repubs are not the ‘party of family.’ If they were they’d be providing free child care, maternity and paternity leave equal to what other developed countries provide, health care for all that doesn’t throw us back to the evil and horror of no health insurance for previous conditions.

Body integrity is important. Do you remember Kamala Harris questioning BK at the supreme court hearings? Now, BK is not the first misogynist to get on that court. I’m old enough to remember the Anita Hill testimony during the CT hearings about putting that misogynist on the court. The court has been hijacked and bloody Mitch (I use the bloody in the English sense of the work) is responsible. He’s a Repub too.
